Andrew Masterson is a prolific journalist and author. He has written for newspapers and magazines for 40 years. Until recently, he spent 27 of those years as a successful freelancer, contributing multiple stories every week to outlets including The Age, Sunday Age, and Sydney Morning Herald. As well as writing science-based material for print, he has also worked extensively on television documentaries, research and PR materials. In 2017 he decided to get a proper job, and took on the role of editor at Cosmos, responsible for daily news coverage on the Cosmos website, and arts coverage for the quarterly print magazine.
